The Time to Move activities come back this October

.

This Eurodesk flagship campaign invites the whole Eurodesk network to organise events across Europe, bringing learning mobility and participation close to young people through non-formal activities.

Under the slogan “Make your move and start exploring Europe”, the Eurodesk campaign, Time to Move, is returning this October with its 11th edition. This initiative features over one thousand activities, including workshops, games, information sessions, podcast episodes, design contests and challenges.  The main target groups for the campaign include young people from rural areas as well as NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), groups that could deeply benefit from participating in learning experiences abroad and may not have enough information about these opportunities.

Thanks to the Interactive map, young people can easily find events nearby, expected to take place in more than 30 countries and organised by over 4000 Eurodesk information points. These local events, comprising workshops, games, information sessions, and diverse activities, will inform young people about the various ways they can explore Europe and access support, including financial support, for their mobility projects.

Besides these activities, and to guarantee that everyone can participate, online activities will also take place.

The Eurodesk network invites all young people to get competitive with our online challenges: social media (taking place on @eurodesk, every Friday) and design contests. The popular Eurodesk’s “Talkative Thursdays” series will also be back this October with four new episodes, featuring stories and insights from former participants in European mobility programmes.

The campaign will once again cover topics that matter to young Europeans, including volunteering and solidarity, youth participation and democracy, gaining work experience, active citizenship and sustainability, mental health and adapting to new cultures, as well as learning, exploring Europe and making international friends.

Many young people are unaware that there are thousands of programmes available for them to learn, volunteer, or work abroad. Time to Move aims to reach out to them and inform them that programmes like Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps are also opportunities for them,” said Audrey Frith, Eurodesk Director.

We invite you to take part in the 11th edition of Time to Move and join the campaign’s online challenges.

You can also share your experience and connect with others by using the campaign hashtag #TimeToMove2025 and posting photos on social media.
